W. S. Goodrich named Business of the Year From Business NH Magazine
May 2, 2007 - Manchester, NH - The 2007 NH Business of the Year Awards honored the W.S. Goodrich Company as the leader in the Retail and Wholesale category for their outstanding civic contributions and exceptional performance in their industry.
The companies being honored exemplify what is best about New Hampshire businesses. This is the 17th year of the recognition program, which was featured in the May 2007 issue of Business NH Magazine.
A screening committee made up of chamber of commerce executives had the difficult task of paring the remarkable field of applicants to three semifinalists in each of the 7 categories. From there, a Panel of Excellence that included executives from last year's winning companies, selected the winners after careful consideration and great debate.
Awards were presented at a special luncheon on Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at the Radisson Hotel at the Center of NH in Manchester. A portion of the proceeds from tickets sales went to benefit the NHACCE scholarship fund.
